NO VIRGINIA, GAS POWERED LEAF BLOWERS HAVE NOT BEEN BANNED EVERYWHERE IN CROTON, SEE THE GAZETTE

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

This week's Gazette has a front page article on the issue of gas-powered leaf blowers being banned in the village---for some at least------HOWEVER, the legislation has been put on HOLD until possibly next year.  Click on the image. In short, you can still  use your gas powered leaf blower at present.

The Gazette is on sale just about everywhere.  As always, you are encouraged to read the article in its entirety.

  1. They can change the law or not. It will not make a wit of difference to us. We will continue to use our gas powered leaf blower, snow blower, lawn mower and car. We will also rake when we can, shovel when we can and leave leaves when we can. But its OUR DECISION, OUR HOUSE, OUR PROPERTY, OUR MORTGAGE.

    1. Amen brother! I bicycle when I can as do my children. But we need our gas powered leaf blower. There isn't an electric around that can do my property.
