NOW AVAILABLE, THE 22 PAGE REPORT: COVID19 CREATED BY CHINESE SCIENTISTS, GAIN IN FUNCTION, NO CREDIBLE NATURAL ANCESTOR AND MORE

AS PROMISED, the update--read the full article at the link below...EXTENSIVE, LENGTHY, DETAILED.
  • An explosive new study claims researchers found 'unique fingerprints' in COVID-19 samples that they say could only have arisen from manipulation in a laboratory
  • DailyMail.com exclusively obtained the new 22-page paper authored by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen set to be published in the Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery
  • The study showed there's evidence to suggest Chinese scientists created the virus while working on a Gain of Function project in a Wuhan lab
  • Gain of Function research, which was temporarily outlawed in the US, involves altering naturally-occurring viruses to make them more infectious in order to study their potential effects on humans
  • According to the paper, Chinese scientists took a natural coronavirus 'backbone' found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a new 'spike', turning it into the deadly and highly transmissible COVID-19
  • The researchers, who concluded that COVID-19 'has no credible natural ancestor', also believe scientists reverse-engineered versions of the virus to cover up their tracks
  • 'We think that there have been retro-engineered viruses created,' Dalgleish told DailyMail.com. 'They've changed the virus, then tried to make out it was in a sequence years ago.'
  • The study also points to 'deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data' in Chinese labs and notes that 'scientists who wished to share their findings haven't been able to do so or have disappeared'
  • Until recently, most experts had staunchly denied the origins of the virus were anything other than a natural infection leaping from animals to humans
  • Earlier this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci defended US funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, saying the $600,000 grant was not approved for Gain of Function research

EXPLOSIVE STUDY CLAIMS TO PROVE CHINESE SCIENTISTS CREATED COVID

This post is closed to all comments.  Comments and questions must be referred to the media source(s) cited.  When and if this report is finally allowed to be published now---as opposed to last year---a link will be provided. In the meantime:

EXPLOSIVE STUDY CLAIMS TO PROVE CHINESE SCIENTISTS CREATED COVID

A bombshell new study claims to have proof that Chinese scientists created COVID-19 in a lab and then tried to reverse-engineer versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.

British professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen wrote they’ve had primary evidence “of retro-engineering in China” since last year, but were ignored by academics and major medical journals, The Daily Mail reported Saturday, citing the soon-to-be-published study.

Dalgleish is a London oncology professor known for breakthrough work on a vaccine for HIV. Sørensen is a virologist and chair of a pharmaceutical company, Immunor, which developed a coronavirus vaccine candidate called Biovacc-19.  Read more at https://nypost.com/2021/05/29/explosive-study-claims-to-prove-chinese-scientists-created-covid/

PIANIST AND COMPOSER FELIX ARNDT, THE "CROTON" (ACTUALLY "HARMON") CONNECTION

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

While researching some early jazz and ragtime pieces, one of the Elves discovered that composer and pianist FELIX ARNDT had been a "Harmon-on-Hudson" resident. In fact, according to Popular American composers from Revolutionary times to the present; a biographical and critical guide by Ewen, David, 1907-1985, Arndt died of pnuemonia at his summer bungalow in Harmon-on-Hudson.  Other sources say the Spanish Flu instead.

Born: May 20, 1889, New York, N.Y. Died: Oct. 16, 1918, Harmon-On-Hudson, N.Y.

Felix Arndt’s mother was the Countess Fevrier, related to Napoleon III. Felix was educated in New York City schools. Arndt started out as a self-taught pianist and later studied with some of the best teachers in New York. As a young man, he wrote special material for several years for a number of Vaudeville troupers including Bayes & Norworth as well as Gus Edwards. Arndt was a charter member of ASCAP, the performing rights society, and organist of New York’s famed Trinity Church. Within a three-year period as staff musician for the Duo-Art reproducing piano company, he produced an astounding total of 3000 piano roll recordings. Many of these paper recordings still survive today.

Arndt’s biggest hit was written as an engagement piece, ten months before his wedding to Nola Locke. (She was also a composer, singer, and teacher who traveled as soloist with the St. Louis Symphony.) "Nola," a "keyboard novelty," was published in 1916. This piano solo caught on very quickly, and lyrics were later added to a simplified version of the piece.

An oldie but goodie from Toys & Stuff:

Lionel #1012 Winner Station--we're really happy to get a close-up view of this one as only had a partial photo--Back in the '30s it was a real tough time for America.

The Great Depression was in full swing and toys were a hard sell. Lionel had been around since 1900 by this time and been producing a premier line of Standard Gauge and O-Gauge electric toy trains, but these trains were large and expensive.

Now, while it's true that not everyone was unemployed there was still enough people out of work to make life miserable for a great many individuals and companies (I believe unemployment at the time was around the 25% mark on average). Lionel's response was the Winner line of trains which was a series of downsized trains and buildings made from about 1930-32 and were compatible in size with the Marx trains being produced at the time.  See more here.

THANK YOU CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR THE HEADS-UP--MOMA BUILT A HOUSE, THEN IT DISAPPEARED, NOW IT'S FOUND, NY TIMES

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship---in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

THANK YOU CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR THE HEADS-UP--NY TIMES, MOMA BUILT A HOUSE, THEN IT DISAPPEARED, NOW IT'S FOUND ... FROM THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY FACEBOOK PAGE:

Although lost to architectural historians for more than 70 years, the survival and location of Gregory Ain’s MOMA show house was known to Croton Historical Society board member Cornelia Cotton and to Jane Northshield, who was Village Historian from 1974 to 1999. We are pleased to have assisted Eve Kahn of the New York Times in her research for this article. In the comments we will post photos of the house discovered in our files—likely taken by Jane Northshield in the 1970s (YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THE PHOTOS HERE.)  A note on the back of one of the photos says, “Skol house. Formerly in the Museum of Modern Art.”  READ MORE AT THE NY TIMES HERE.

REMEMBERING AUDIE MURPHY

Who died this date in 1971.....Audie Leon Murphy (20 June 1925 – 28 May 1971) was an American soldier, actor, songwriter, and rancher. He was one of the most decorated American combat soldiers of World War II. He received every military combat award for valor available from the U.S. Army, as well as French and Belgian awards for heroism. Murphy received the Medal of Honor for valor that he demonstrated at the age of 19 for single-handedly holding off a company of German soldiers for an hour at the Colmar Pocket in France in January 1945, then leading a successful counterattack while wounded and out of ammunition...

After the war, Murphy embarked on a 21-year acting career. READ AND SEE MORE HERE.

USA TODAY FINDS THE WORD "MALE" TO BE HURTFUL, FOR THOSE PARENTS FOLLOWING TRANSGENDER ISSUES, WOMEN'S SPORTS & CHELSEA MITCHELL'S ORIGINAL UNCENSORED PIECE

Once again, parents who have questions about these issues must refer them to the school district in question....

TWO ARTICLES:

#1 - USA Today has published an editor’s note on an op-ed by Chelsea Mitchell, a female high-school athlete, regretting the supposedly “hurtful language” Mitchell used. Several references to the word “male” were switched to “transgender.” READ MORE HERE.

AND THE ORIGINAL UNCENSORED PIECE in which USA TODAY changed the word "male" to transgender:

#2 - I WAS THE FASTEST GIRL IN CONNECTICUT BUT (MALE) TRANSGENDER ATHLETES MADE IT AN UNFAIR FIGHT

May 26, 2021 - Editor’s note: On May 22, USA Today published an opinion piece from Alliance Defending Freedom client Chelsea Mitchell (Soule v. Connecticut Association of Schools) about the injustice she experienced as an athlete who was forced to compete against males in track. On May 25, editors at USA Today, without notice to Chelsea, changed the word “male” to “transgender” throughout her piece and added the following editor’s note to the top of it:

“This column has been updated to reflect USA TODAY’s standards and style guidelines. We regret that hurtful language was used.”

We reproduce the original version of Chelsea’s piece below so that you can read what she wrote prior to USA Today’s post-publication edits and editor’s note, which inappropriately assigned “hurtful” motives to Chelsea’s logical use of the word “male” to refer to the biology of males who compete in female sports.

By: Chelsea Mitchell

It’s February 2020. I’m crouched at the starting line of the high school girls’ 55-meter indoor race. This should be one of the best days of my life. I’m running in the state championship, and I’m ranked the fastest high school female in the 55-meter dash in the state. I should be feeling confident. I should know that I have a strong shot at winning.

Instead, all I can think about is how all my training, everything I’ve done to maximize my performance, might not be enough, simply because there’s a runner on the line with an enormous physical advantage: a male body.

I won that race, and I'm grateful. But time after time, I have lost.

I’ve lost four women’s state championship titles, two all-New England awards, and numerous other spots on the podium to male runners. I was bumped to third place in the 55-meter dash in 2019, behind two male runners. With every loss, it gets harder and harder to try again.

That’s a devastating experience. It tells me that I’m not good enough; that my body isn’t good enough; and that no matter how hard I work, I am unlikely to succeed, because I’m a woman.

That experience is why three of my fellow female athletes and I filed a lawsuit last year with Alliance Defending Freedom against the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC): because girls and women shouldn’t be stripped of their right to fair competition.

The CIAC allows biological males to compete in girls’ and women’s sports. As a result, two males began racing in girls’ track in 2017. In the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons alone, these males took 15 women’s state track championship titles (titles held in 2016 by nine different girls) and more than 85 opportunities to participate in higher level competitions that belonged to female track athletes.  READ MORE AT https://adflegal.org/blog/i-was-fastest-girl-connecticut-transgender-athletes-made-it-unfair-fight
