First up, a fabulous photo of vintage Christmas lights/tree toppers that were on display at the Golden Glow of Christmas Past 2019 Convention. Courtesy of Pete Oehmen. 


Your editor has sliced it in two so you can appreciate all the vintage electric goodness!

They're followed by a great 1953 ad for the classic sci-fi movie, INVADERS FROM MARS!  And a 1926 ad--proclaiming a Merry Christmas from Joyzelle. 

For those who don't know,  Joyzelle Joyner (August 27, 1905 – November 30, 1980) was an American actress and dancer. She appeared in at least thirty films between 1925 and 1935, garnering some notoriety for her appearance in The Sign of the Cross.   Again, click on the photos and links.
