CROTON-ON-HUDSON'S GOLDEN JUBILEE 1898-1948, closing ceremonies

In 1948, Croton on Hudson celebrated its “Golden Jubilee”. From September 19th through the 26th, the village held parades, dances, concerts, science and art exhibitions, the list goes on and on.     What a difference between this event and the miserable centennial the village had.
