MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

So many wonderful finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more....Enjoy.

Courtesy of JoanneO, an "orphan photo" from her collection, so called because nothing is known about the sitter--and because such photos should be with their families, but sometimes aren't. Here they live another day instead of stacked up on flea market tables.

It's circa 1920's, believed to be a Communion photo.

She's followed by an outstanding collection of vintage Halloween noisemakers, courtesy of AngelaG. These have a "ladies" theme.

And finally, from the archives, a small putz church by Howard Lamey based on a 2003 HOM. Click on the photos and enjoy.

AND BECAUSE THE QUESTION CAME UP AGAIN RECENTLY--Illuminating putz houses; click on the link http://bit.ly/1M2RVUA

So worth looking at again: a slideshow of items from the 2010 Golden Glow of Christmas convention; some cotton topped putzs here too--from Don Black--click here

A simply amazing photo of a 1949 San Francisco gas station decorated for Christmas----so wish the image was larger--putz enthusiasts will love it nevertheless---click here

SAD NEWS AND A HEADS UP FROM FAMILY GARDEN TRAINS....

From HLW trains, their letter announcing that they have ceased production. Click here:

Very sad, these are good people who have sacrificed much for the love of the hobby.

Check out the log cabin banks that Paul Race came across at the Springfield flea market some years back -- very nicely done; click here

And some putz sightings at the flea market too; click here

If you want the pattern for thise small church that Howard made--click here---just keep scrolling down the page once you get there.
