Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
Just got word that former Croton resident Perry Crawford has passed away. His sister said: My
brother Perry Crawford passed away this weekend after battling a rare
degenerative neurological disease for many years. He loved Croton so
much and would make a special point to return as often as he could,
about once every year or two. Our family lived on Glengary Road in the
50s and Morningside Drive from 1960 to the late 90s. Our whole family
was very involved in the Shakespeare Festival, and after acting in many
plays Perry went on to study theater in college and had a pretty
successful part-time career in acting and modeling. Perry’s children
have put together a website for people to share remembrances, RememberingPerry.com.
If you have any fun or touching memories of Perry, we’d love it if
you’d share them. Thank you so much. Also, I wrote a special tribute to
him on my page and two of his children have special videos on the
landing page of the website below. MORE HERE.
