MASKS: HEAT STROKE, SWIMMING

With temperatures in the mid-80's yesterday, your editor witnessed a masked walker overcome by heat. She recovered but was convinced that her mask was part of the problem. Indeed, a review of the internet turned up several articles on masks and heat stroke. Only one is being provided below for information purposes, along with a reminder from News 12 that you should not wear your mask while swimming and/or in the water--as you risk drowning.
