Engine 119, Tower Ladder 44, Rescue 18 and the three Chiefs investigated a gas leak on Grand Street around 6:30pm Tuesday.Con Edison arrived and was working on the situation.  In addition to our members, a very interested young man came out in his fire helmet and boots to help out. He got a tour of the apparatus, sat in the driver’s seat of E119 & TL44 then gave the air horns a solid blast.  Remember kids, you, too, can grow up to be firefighters. A little known secret, most of us never really fully grow up and still love playing with fire trucks for decades!
