NEWS FROM YOUR ALL VOLUNTEER CROTON FIRE DEPARTMENT -- LEARNING TO EFFECTIVELY DEAL WITH PASSENGER TRAIN EMERGENCIES--Tonight’s Department Training is Passenger Train Emergencies given by Chief Sweeting of Metro-North. Having Metro-North’s largest property and one of the biggest train hubs on the Hudson Line in our First Due district presents us with a variety of emergencies every year. Training like this is done every 2-3 years to ensure our membership is familiar with the high number of hazards within our district.
