ReplyDeleteSo the meat grinders and straight razors are on the same page with the baseball gloves and kids' watercolor sets? Hope they weren't arranged that way in the redemption center.
ReplyDeleteAnd look at the skooter toy # 7736; let's hope they left the handlebars off to fit more on the page - otherwise, as a parent, this would give me nightmares.
BTW, the last Green Stamp redemption center in our area closed down about 1979, the year Shelia and I married. I know that because my inlaws gave us several green stamp books to redeem and we had enough to get ONE 75' GARDEN HOSE. By then nobody was giving out Green Stamps anymore.
These were a Godsend in our house. One year nearly all our Christmas presents came this way and while it took a long time to save for anything worthwhile, without them I would have never had my pride and joy, a transistor radio!
