Welcome to
Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes,
our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
The Grandstand is celebrating its 40th anniversary on September 7th...from their facebook page: In 1973 Robert "Bozo"
Agosta opened Rosario's on his 23rd birthday. Closing for a few months
of renovation in 1985, he reopened as The Grandstand! Come on by and
enjoy this major milestone with us. There will be food, drink, and lots
of memories that night.
p.s. A BIG EVERYTHING CROTON SHOUT-OUT to The Grandstand; more than just the place where everyone knows your name, THE GRANDSTAND has been an active and engaged participant in the village for decades. From CHHS football fundraisers to their annual toys for tots drives, The Grandstand is just another reason why life is good in Croton-on-Hudson.

Pretentious places come and go, and I've seen a lot of that here for years. The Grandstand has staying power for a reason. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteVery nice article and it's nice to see it get the recognition it deserves. I have a lot of very fond memories there and have met a lot of wonderful people there. The CHEERS of Croton.
ReplyDeleteI remember a newbie resident who turned her nose up at the place preferring some other place that lasted maybe a year or two. The gRandstand is still here because it knows Croton and what Croton likes.
