MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies and special requests. Click on the photos and links.

Ah but first some images from the Fuller Brush Salesman--then Charles Boyer--no connection whatsoever, just some marvelous ephemera scans sent to us from the Canadian contingent; the ads are from 1922; the Charles Boyer ad from 1943. And finally from the archives, the vintage smoker and composition houses exhibited back in 2020 via a Peter Oehmen and Linda Starek collaboration.  Again, click on the photos and links.  See more of the Oehmen Stark collaboration at https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1979

Again click on the photos and links.

A vignette of 16 photos featuring vintage made in Japan bottle brush and chenille Christmas trees, the latter with some outstanding kitschiness at a blog known as CHIPPYSHABBY. There are even some with the price labels.

The vintage chenille trees alone are worth the trip---and wondering if they could be reproduced by a certain clever crafter we know----but it's the outstanding way things are arranged that really hits the mark.  Spend some time at http://chippyshabby.blogspot.com/2012/12/vintage-christmas-this-years-vignette.html

The firm published several postcards for the blossoming Dutch film industry of the 1930s but also postcards with star portraits or film scenes of popular Hollywood and European films. (LIKE GOLD DIGGERS OF 1933, BLONDE VENUS AND OTHERS)
