First----UPDATED--MINI ALBUM OF VINTAGE COIN-OP RIDES--It's not hard to understand, even in this day and age, why coin-operated rides gave us a thrill--and still do so today when you can find them. Especially this 1955 'MODEL T".

That's followed by an collection of strange little vintage made in Japan putz houses via Pete Oehmen---some of these designs would make great additions to Hoard Lamey's Ten Cent City or small castle series.

And Pete says: One of my new favorite groups of houses I call "Oddities" A Family of Their Own. I'm surprised at how many of these strange little fellows are popping up. I guess I always just passed them up and didn't give them their fair chance. Some are totally out on their own while others seem to be bits and pieces of other families or are a new family all together. (Editor's note: There will be more soon!)

And finally,  Blumchen's "tissue festooning" is now available; there's also a tutorial for making the nest shown. Still manufactured in America of high quality, vibrantly-colored tissue paper,
this festooning has added accents of crystal-clear cellophane frills to impart a
subtle sparkle.

A fun trim you can use as a decorative "grassy" accent all year round, we used this frilly festooning to make our cute Easter bunny nests!
