Monica Vitti (1931-2022)
Yesterday, 2 February 2022, legendary Italian actress Monica Vitti passed away in Rome, Italy. She was most widely noted in the early 1960s for her starring roles in four classic avant-garde films directed by Michelangelo Antonioni.
Later the glamorous blonde became the queen of the 'Commedia all’Italiana', a film genre previously restricted to men. Monica Vitti was 90.
