Welcome
to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history,
our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of
worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
Back in May of 2019,
the local birding world was fairly excited about a young Eastern
Meadowlark that was spotted at The Croton Duck Pond. (Meadowlarks aren't
exactly a common occurrence.)
Fast forward to this morning
where your editor spotted THREE (and possibly a fourth) at the
pond--click on the photo to see one feasting on what looks like an orb
spider.
