ON THIS DATE IN 1958---GIGI!

On this date in 1958 "Gigi" based on the story by Colette, directed by Vincent Minnelli and starring Leslie Caron---click on the vintage photo postcard-- Louis Jourdan, and Maurice Chevalier--premiered in New York.  It would go on to win Best Picture 1959.
