A MAY 2021 UPDATE ON THE CROTON EAGLE NEST

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship---in short, EVERYTHING CROTON. 

As many of you know, your editor and an Elve had been monitoring a pair of courting eagles who have since nested in the area---(Read and see more about that here.)  

The location is not being posted but village officials, appropriate birding people, etc. have been notified. Here is a another shot---rest assured by telephoto so as not to disturb the integrity of the nest.  Click on the photo.  

We were concerned---because there were reports that the eagles appeared somewhat spooked by area construction and noise---that the nest had been abandoned.  Thankfully that appears not to be the case.
