HACKSAW RIDGE, ANOTHER FILM FOR YOUR BUCKET LIST

Hacksaw Ridge is truly one the most amazing films ever---yes.....the 2016 American-Australian biographical war film directed by Mel Gibson and written by Andrew Knight and Robert Schenkkan, was based on the 2004 documentary The Conscientious Objector. The film focuses on the World War II experiences of Desmond Doss, an American pacifist combat medic who, as a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, refused to carry or use a weapon or firearm of any kind. Doss became the first conscientious objector to be awarded the Medal of Honor, for service above and beyond the call of duty during the Battle of Okinawa.

The movie won a slew of well justified awards, is filled with excellent performances, and there's so much more.  (ANDREW GARFIELD WAS AMAZING! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Garfield)

This was indeed THE GREATEST GENERATION and true heroes in every way.

Trigger Alert: This is not an easy film to watch.  It challenges many of today's "narratives" and you'll soon figure out which ones almost immediately.  If that sort of thing gives you the vapors, HACKSAW RIDGE is not for you.  For everyone else, READ MORE AT https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacksaw_Ridge
