LAST NIGHT'S MOTOR VEHICLE FIRE AT ENTERPRISE/CROTON AUTO PARK, THANK YOU CROTON FIRE DEPT. FOR YOUR RESPONSE

At 6:40 PM Wednesday, Croton Fire was dispatched to a Motor-Vehicle Fire at Croton Auto Park. Car 2082 arrived 2 minutes later confirming the fire and upgraded to a Full Assignment due to the vehicle’s close proximity to the building.  Engine 119 & Tanker 10 arrived just short of four minutes after dispatch and deployed a 200’ preconnected hose and had water on the fire one minute after arrival.  Members of Engine 118 & Tower Ladder 44 took the roof sector to confirm no extension while Engine 120 secured a hydrant and Rescue 18 assisted with traffic control. The fire was contained to the vehicle and all units cleared 35 minutes later. 2081, 2082, 2083, E118, E119, E120, TL44, T10, R18 & U208 on the assignment with nearly 30 CFD Volunteers.  SEE MORE PHOTOS AND VIDEO AT THE FB PAGE.
