BY SPECIAL REQUEST, VINTAGE CROTON SENIOR PLAYS AND MORE - UPDATED

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

FROM THE EVERYTHING CROTON MAILBOX--A reader writes--I have the fondest memories of attending the Croton High School senior plays in the 1960's with my Mom though I was too young to remember the titles. There was always ice cream afterwards. Got anything?

Your editor. Yes. We do. Hope this jogs happy memories. COURTESY OF THE OUTSTANDING ARCHIVES MAINTAINED BY THE VOLUNTEERS OF THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY....

FIRST UP, NOVEMBER 1965: SPIRITED SENIOR PLAY ACCLAIMED, OUR HEARTS WERE YOUNG AND GAY by Croton's own Lou Brennan. There's some familiar "Old Croton" names here. THAT'S FOLLOWED BY THE 1962 PRODUCTION, under Fred Blais, of Heaven Can Wait.
