FROM THE MAILBOX, A CLEVER IDEA RE-INTERPRETED--ITALIAN RIBBON FLOWERS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

A reader asks--I remember some sort of flower craft using jelly beans and ribbon here and can't find it. I want to do them for a children's Easter party. Thanks.

Editor's response--click on the photos and links--We're fairly certain you are thinking of this 2021 post--that used Jordan Almonds not jelly beans from Apple Farm and Italian Ribbon ordered from Blumchen. But jelly beans are certainly an alternative we imagine!  Maybe skip the bead center for children and safety???
Here's a re-post with all the info you need:

What do you do when a reader is making the Italian Ribbon Flower Favors for her daughter's wedding last week---and runs out of the traditional Jordan Almonds necessary to finish the last five?

You send them to Apple Farm of course! BTW the wedding went off without a hitch.
