WHITE PLAINS — The Chronicle has been covering the case of Oliver Fernandez of the Bronx, who was arrested in Croton by village police on January 31 and charged with three counts of illegal gun possession, a count of criminal contempt, and another count of illegal dissemination of an “intimate image.” The gun charges resulted from the alleged discovery of a loaded gun in Fernandez’s automobile after he drove out of Maple Commons. The purpose of his visit to the housing complex remains unexplained by village officials and the Maple Commons developer.

Today, March 26, Fernandez appeared in the Westchester County courtroom of Judge Melissa Loehr as part of the ongoing proceedings in his case. Croton police had originally reported, in their media release on the case (issued on March 17), that Fernandez was being held on $15,000 bail.
