MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more.  Click on the photos and links.

First up---Courtesy of the LOC, a wonderful old photo--no known copyright restrictions--of 5th Avenue and 42nd street. Just about the only thing that remains the same today is the spire in the distance (St. Patrick's Cathedral) and the New York Public Library itself. We love the old signage!

That's followed by a marvelous 1909 French Easter postcard courtesy of SuzeeQ. The dolls alone are worth the trip.

And finally the 2021 Easter putz, featuring repro candy box putz houses by Karl Fey.  Again, click on the photos and enjoy.

For fans of Ben Seibel designs--quintessential mid-century modern; click here.

So worth looking at again: an outstanding video of putz houses from the Museum Room at the Golden Glow of Christmas convention 2012 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UIcjNOncc8
