First up, by special request---a page filled with model trains from the 1916 Sears Catalog. Sigh....if only we could go back in time and bring it all back with us! And if you want to see the EverythingCroton scans of the 1916 Sears Catalog, over 700 pages(!) filled with everything from soup to nuts, click on the link below http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2013/04/final-1916-sears-catalog.html
JUST A REMINDER: If you want to participate in a carefully moderated forum about O gauge, On30, S gauge, or holiday trains (no online sniping nonsense allowed!), check out: http://www.bigindoortrains.com/forums
Next up isn't this vintage Murray 2 Ton Diesel "pedal power" toy tractor amazing! This was featured in a previous Asbury Methodist Spring Tag Sale.
It's followed by some vintage Easter die-cuts,,,
Somehow vintage holiday die-cuts just have so much more charm than their modern counterparts; these are a pair of school die-cuts from the 50's, courtesy of Mary B. Again click on the photos and links.
NEW FROM PETE OEHMEN! A NEW COLLECTOR'S GUIDE CHAPTER---PUTZ HOUSE CANDY CONTAINERS---THERE ARE SOME TRUE BEAUTIES HERE. GO TO https://www.cardboardchristmas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1898
More unfinished putz house "kits" from an ETSY shop called LITTLE VILLAGE HOUSES--there are quite a few interesting items here for those of us who are dangerous with an exacto-knife (!) - click HERE
FOR THE READER LOOKING FOR GIANT WISE MEN "NATIVITY" CARDBOARD CUTOUTS, you should really try Oriental Trading. The shipping can get quite pricey but often they are one of the few places that has these types of things.
Came across a particular item that might suit your purposes---this could be mounted on plywood---and should be heavily sealed even if in a protected area outside....can't vouch for the color fading, etc. although the reviews seem to be good---CLICK HERE.

AND IN CASE YOU MISSED IT........July, 2020 Update from Family Garden Trains™ Update for July, 2020
Yes,
there's been another gap between my newsletters. But news keeps
happening that I want to squeeze in. If you're in touch with any of the
garden railroading communities, you know by now that Garden Railways
magazine has been shut down by Kalmbach, and more train manufacturers
are either shuttering or planning to shutter. The good news is that LGB,
PIKO, and USA Trains are still making quality products, and many clubs
and forums are still operating and sharing knowledge. And in
case you wondered whether this years' crazy circumstances have hurt the
hobby in any other way, you should know that people stuck at home are
doing a lot of work in their back yards. READ AND SEE MUCH MORE HERE.
