As life slowly returns to normal, August 2020 closes out with a small contingent of kayakers at the mouth of the Croton River--and the sighting of two egrets hidden away in the phragmite rushes---all framed overhead by a perfectly cloud-strewn sky. Your editor and the elves are happy to report that folks were out and about---fishing, boating, crabbing....Click on the photo.

We launched from the Point side. It's a bit more challenging but so worth it. I have never seen the area so clean by the way.
