One of the nicest things about the village is the outstanding service organizations that exemplify the best in volunteerism, service above self, and more.
And so once again---over the next
few weeks, and by special request---Everything Croton will re-acquaint
you with the men and women who serve------from the Lions to the Rotary to
the Knights of Columbus....in no particular order.......
First
up, the Croton Lions, established in 1939. (Click on the photo to see
some current members volunteering at the local food bank....indeed throughout the recent pandemic, the Croton Lions Club has been actively engaged in these efforts).
Yes, the Croton Lions have a long history in the village. For over 80 years, their members have given of themselves to serve the needs of others. You can see select scans from their 45th anniversary commemorative booklet (and that was back in 1984!) by clicking HERE.

The Croton Lions also provide scholarships to worthy students. On June 24, 2020, the winners were Faythe Flynn and Sasha Rozenshteyn. Each were presented with a $5,000.00 check.
