MARYLAND GOVERNOR OVERRIDES COUNTY: CATHOLIC SCHOOLS CAN RE-OPEN, MANY THANKS TO ST. AUGUSTINE R.C. CHURCH FOR THE INFO

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

As many of you know, Montgomery County in Maryland actually attempted to bar NONPUBLIC schools from opening in the fall for in-person instruction--despite the CDC's standards that there "would be significant health consequences" if school did NOT re-open. Let me repeat that: only NON-PUBLIC schools would be forced to stay closed. You can read more about this astonishing governmental over-reach at https://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2020/08/montgomery-county-bars-non-public.html

Well there's good news. Many thanks to the members of St. Augustine R.C. Church for bringing it to us here at the blog.  It's from their 8/9 weekly bulletin.
