MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful finds. Click on the photos and links.

First up, this rare and beautiful toy plane takes your breath away: the "Northwest DC–7 Airliner", 1950s, Yonezawa, Japan (imported by Cragstan); 24" tin passenger plane--the props turn as it rolls around, it comes to a stop, props shut down 2 at a time; lights flash, people in windows start to move towards rear exit as rear door opens to reveal a tiny 3D tin stewardess.

And although the steps say "Eastern Airlines", these are the correct steps issued w/ this toy; FEATURED IN A PREVIOUS AUCTION at SERIOUSTOYZ, it sold for 1,144.25!

It's followed by an oldie but goodie, an outstanding trio--courtesy of Dianne--of early made in Japan putz houses with all their original bells and whistles: The clay snowman, dog, trees!  We're very partial to the one with the red balcony!

They're followed by a circa 1930's NOMA CHEER-O-LITE TREE and finally, another great Christmas scene from MatthewUnd--we love the clean modern lines of the village.

Again, click on the photos and links.

By special request--back in the day, Lynn built two of the houses from the Pac-O-Fun patterns; click here and keep scrolling down the page--you'll also get to see Laurie's outstanding loggie along the way.

And by special request--from Toys & Stuff: The American Dimestore series of vintage style cars and truck got its start with a company called Dimestore Dreams founded by noted collector and toy designer Bill Hanlon. Dimestore Dreams was bought by Binary Arts back in 2000 but...read and see more here
