MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful finds.  Click on the photos and links.

First up, an oldie but goodie. Another one of those great ads from the back pages of a movie magazine, 1960--100 LITTLE DOLLS ALL FOR A DOLLAR! Made of styrene (now there's a word you don't hear of too often any more) and hard synthetic rubber. Yes, we want them all.

That followed by a real find--Make Your Own Buster Keaton Movie--actually it's a flip book--and from a 1922 magazine.  We've sliced it into two parts for easier viewing.

And finally, a faux tinplate creation from Howard Lamey--because every village needs a bus station.

(Check out the Tribute to Tinplate from Paul Race here.)

Again click on the photos and links.

So worth looking at again: the coolest Disney blog--all vintage 1928-1945. It hasn't been updated in a while but we love it and there are some very interesting things on it--including early Mickey Mouse Thanksgiving Day Balloon photos vintagedisneymemorabilia.blogspot.com/

THE CANDY WRAPPER MUSEUM! This is a very fun site--click here.

Check out this fantastic Marx Fort Dearborn Cabin from Toy Connect—minty!  MORE HERE.

For fans of Russel Wright/Melmac, this is THE most fun site--rare items too---you could end up spending a lot of time at http://retrochalet.blogspot.com/

A truly outstanding collection of vintage celluloid and plastic Halloween – some really extraordinary pieces, CLICK HERE.

And by SPECIAL REQUEST TO TIFFANY l--I think this is the house with the raffia fence you are looking for--Howard's pattern and more is here
