MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more.  Click on the photos and links.

We're always thrilled when we can find an ad for vintage pieces acquired at a tag sale; the figures to left were made by Goebel of Hummel fame. The set was called "Flight Into Egypt" and was originally produced in the late 1950's. They were designed by Janet Robson for Goebel.

The plate was produced in 1977 or at least this is the date shown in this 1977 ad from Better Homes & Gardens. Click on the photo. The figures were also periodically reproduced throughout the 60's. All pieces would be date stamped and bear the Goebel/Germany mark.

It's followed by a wonderful French cabinet card/Christmas postcard---probably pre-WWI.

Next up, Lucy has been so busy over at Paper Glitter Glue---with this charming Valentine themed mailbox creation---to get the pattern---and see more "mailboxes", and the original that inspired this flurry of creativity, click here.

And finally, we have stumbled upon a wonderful site called Don & Chris' Old Stuff Only---this place is so much fun!

Be prepared to go down the proverbial rabbit hole---great stuff for crafting, displaying and so much more....it's a no frills website that still packs a lot of punch - https://www.oldstuffonly.com/ - Again, click on the photos and links.

For collectors of vintage blowmolds---it's a blowmold Christmas Soldier heaven! Click here.

A question for the crafters:  Has anyone ever used this shrink plastic before?

It certainly looks as if it would be applicable for making small objects for putz scenes---or perhaps even architectural elements.

There's a Youtube video tutorial; click here

AND JUST FOR FUN, REMEMBER PLAYING WITH SHRINKY DINKS---CLICK HERE
