IN THE NEWS: WAKE HELD AT ST. PATRICK'S FOR SLAIN NYPD COP JASON RIVERA, PARTNER WILBERT MORA NEXT WEEK

Wake held at St. Patrick’s for slain NYPD cop Jason Rivera -- NYPD Police Officer Jason Rivera is getting a hero’s farewell at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.   Thousands of mourners are expected to flood Midtown Thursday — first responders and civilians alike — for the wake of the slain cop at the historic Manhattan church. The body of the 22-year-old cop — which arrived at the historic church at about 11:30 a.m. — will lie at the foot of the altar with his photo alongside an NYPD flag made of flowers. It will be the first of two police funerals at St. Pat’s.  Rivera’s partner, Wilbert Mora, is due to be mourned at a funeral at the church next week.  MORE AT https://nypost.com/2022/01/27/wake-held-at-st-patricks-for-slain-nypd-cop-jason-rivera/
