I remember buying my mother a heart shaped bottle of perfume for fifty nine cents. I also remember a tiny Whitman box of chocolate cherry bon bons for fifty cents. Maybe four in the box. The woman offered to wrap up both in pink tissue paper with a ribbon. Those were the days.
