VILLAGE HISTORIAN GIVES TALK AT CROTON SENIORS

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Village historian Marc Cheshire gave a presentation on Friday October 11th to a group of almost 60 village seniors. The event was sponsored by the recreation department and hosted by the Croton Seniors. Refreshments were served with the help of of coffee team, Anna, Luba, and Connie. Judy and Aurelia were in charge of the Historical Society gift table and as you can see, (click on the photos below) there was not an empty seat to be found. The talk was very well received and prompted some interesting questions and discussion. We look forward to having Marc present again in the future.

p.s. Gazette editor, Gary Cahill stopped by and had a danish on the house!
