Some years back, we were thrilled to find some vintage "December" Life and Look magazines from the 20's and 50's. The Christmas ads are wonderful and we've been sharing them ever since of course---as we always do!---but--we came across this interesting write-up for a Christmas song called "Little Friend"--also known as "Happy Christmas Little Friend", commissioned by Life back in 1952----though the write-up to the left is from 1953.
It was picked up by the National Tuberculosis Association as its Christmas Seal theme song that year. Click on the photo.
