PHOTO ALBUM & NEWS FROM THE 2019 PEDALS FOR PROGRESS BIKE & SEWING MACHINE COLLECTION
Held at Asbury United Methodist Church and coordinated/sponsored by the Croton Lay Interfaith Council [CLIC], the collection was a success!
Results: 117 bikes, 31 sewing machines, $1087 in donations (plus another check from the Unitarian Universalist Congregation and their Sunday offering). The sponsors expressed their thanks to the 20 volunteers--including members of the God Squad-- who got the bikes ready for packing and loading the truck, as well all those who published the event via flyers, house of worship newsletter, blogs, social media, etc. Click on the photos below.
