Peter Franzoso, 88, a lifelong resident and business owner in Croton-on-Hudson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital, Cortlandt Manor.

Peter was born in Croton on June 16, 1931 to Maria Palmietto and Peter Franzoso, immigrants from Bari, Italy.  He graduated from CHHS in 1949.

Peter and his brother built the Bari Manor apartments in 1959, as well as many private homes throughout Croton.

Peter was predeceased by his brothers Dominic, Mario, Vito and John and by his sister Rose Letterii.

He is survived by his son Mark Franzoso (Diane); his daughter Joy Franzoso (Brian Salonsky); grandchildren Brian Nolan, Jessica Owens (Matthew) and Aexandra and Jacqueline Simpson; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A private service and interment will be held by the family at a later date.

Memorial donations to the Rotary Club of Croton-on-Hudson, PO Box 323, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 would be appreciated by the family.
