Steve Lynch as the winner for their 2019 "Roof for Troops" campaign! Click on the photo.
Steve
is retiring from the military after 38+ years this month. He enlisted
in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from Hendrick Hudson High School.
Afterwards, he joined the New York Air National Guard, the New York
Army National Guard, and the US Army Reserve. During his time in the
military, his assigned unit provided support for Operation Urgent Fury
(Grenada) and many other missions through the years. He has been on
missions and has trained throughout the world. Steve has served as the
Company Commander of 133rd Maintenance Company located in Peekskill.
His unit was called to active duty in 2004 to help support Operations
Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Most recently with the US Army
Reserves, Steve oversees the Selective Service System Draft Board
protocol for all of New York City and Long Island. His military service
winding down and he will soon be officially retired having served since
1981.
Steve
and his wife and three children live at 101 Oneida Ave. Make sure to
swing by to check out that new roof which will be installed in a few
weeks!
