JOAN BLONDELL
American actress Joan Blondell
(1906–1979) performed in more than 100 films and on television for five
decades. With her blonde hair, big blue eyes and her big smile, Joan was
usually cast as the wisecracking working girl who was the lead's best
friend. During the 1930s, she co-starred with Glenda Farrell in nine
films, in which the duo portrayed two golddiggers.
