MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful finds, oldies but goodies, and special requests too...click on the photos and links...

First up from 1927....Theatrical designer Landy R. Hales created a village setting for Macy’s toy department (click on the photo), complete with streetlamp fixtures disguising the load-bearing columns of the world’s largest store. Children’s souvenirs and colorful posters picturing Wonderland promoted the toy town ideal.  SEE MUCH MORE HERE

Always worth a second look--One of our favorite vintage made in Japan putz houses--coconut, a great fence and of course that little clay/bisque dog...This one is from author Antoinette Stockenberg's 2012 Christmas mantle. And check out all those amazing vintage tin flats--a.k.a. zinnfiguren.
