Sixth-Grade Girl Admits To Fabricating Hate Attack That Media Linked To Mike Pence’s Wife, School Says...An alleged anti-black hate incident at a Washington, D.C.-area middle school that media outlets tried to link to Vice President Mike Pence’s wife was a hoax, the school said Monday. Amari Allen, 12, accused three white classmates earlier in September of pinning her down and cutting off her dreadlocks during an attack at Immanuel Christian School, a private school in Springfield, Virginia.“They said my hair was nappy and I was ugly,” Allen, a sixth-grader, told NBC Washington in an emotional interview. When I asked Wilfred Reilly about last week’s appointment of a special prosecutor in Chicago to take up the Jussie Smollett case, he was cautiously optimistic. Mr. Reilly is author of a new book, “Hate Crime Hoax,” in which he details how the initial publicity for supposed hate crimes tends all but to disappear if the allegations are exposed as fake.

So does the sustained press coverage of Mr. Smollett—the television actor who was accused of staging an attack on himself back in January, only to have all 16 felony counts against him abruptly dropped for reasons that prosecutors have never made clear—represent progress of sorts? READ MORE HERE.

  1. Really a very sad thing and not very believable from the start. I will pray for her, her family, and thank God, the hoax was uncovered.
