Remember "Soakies", those character collector soap bottles that were so popular in the late 50's and early to mid sixties...Although the name "Soaky" belongs to Colgate-Palmolive, collectors now use it for all plastic figural bubble-bath containers.   And they can fetch handsome prices these days. They're followed by the ultimate vintage Christmas kitsch: whiskered Santa Claus stickers--and still unopened in the package. No further comment necessary!

"Friction Powered Atomic Pistol with Spark", by Nomura (T.N.), circa 1950s--made in Japan.   Featured in a previous auction at SeriousToyz. 

For those who don't know, Nomura, also known at TN, was one of the biggest and most prolific of all postwar Japanese toy makers. It operated from the 1940s thru the 1970's.  MORE INFO HERE.
