As always, some wonderful finds, oldies but goodies and more. Click on the photos and the links.
First up, a 1955 Christmas ad for Philip Morris, and a glorious piece of illustration.
It's followed by an oldie but goodie from Howard Lamey and a few years ago---a super custom Victorian putz house mansion. And a fabulous ad for Westclox, 1972--yes indeed there once was a time when battery operated wall clocks were new and exciting---and made the perfect Christmas gift. And finally a little putz house inspiration: a circa 1870 architectural plan for a gentleman's cottage.

The gentleman's cottage looks like Washington Irving's Sunnyside.
