NEW YORK BRACES FOR 1,000 MILE SNOW WALL EXPECTED TO PUMMEL EAST COAST THIS WEEK

New York braces for 1,000-mile snow wall expected to pummel East Coast this week--By Mataeo Smith,15 hours ago--A heavy snowstorm spanning 1,000 miles is expected to pummel northeastern cities like Washington, D.C., Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Albany and Manhattan, New York, which are expected to receive a layer of an inch of snow.  One to three inches of snow are likely to fall on the boroughs that encircle Manhattan. Long Island, New York, eastern Maine, and the coasts of Delaware and New Jersey will also receive one to three inches. Boston, Providence, Rhode Island, and Hartford, Connecticut, in southern New England, are predicted to receive three to six inches. The AccuWeather Local StormMaxTM measures 10 inches.
