A reader recently watched the latest iteration of LITTLE WOMEN starring, among others, Timothee Chalamet, Florence Pugh, etal. She believes that there was a magazine dedicated to the film but remembers little else. Can we help?

Response: Indeed we can--having featured all this at the blog back in 2020. At that time. Life Magazine produced a special retrospective on the remake. (Click on the photo.)

The retrospective was on sale at our local ShopRite and has since become a bit of a collector's item.  You can sometimes find it on EBAY.  This was the 7th version of the 1868 novel by Louisa May Alcott. The film starred Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, James Norton, Louis Garrel, Chris Cooper, and Meryl Streep. It received critical acclaim and at that time, grossed $191.3 million worldwide. Among its numerous accolades, the film received six nominations at the 92nd Academy Awards.
