 *****Several readers continue to report ongoing issues with facebook and their posted items going into pending on a somewhat random basis. Sorry--but we can offer no advice other than to keep trying and hope that the administrator of whatever page you are referring to, notices the issue.  As far as the political and/or anonymous trolling goes, you should probably reach out to the admin. *****A reader was trying to remember the name of a "wellness" center/organization that existed in the upper village in what became a number of other businesses---Treasures and Tales, Wake Robin, etc.

Response: You can only mean the Acker Wellness Center a.k.a. Acker House Center For Integrative Health; it closed a number of years ago. We also had a wellness center in the Upper Village known as AJNA; it too closed a number of years ago.

*****A reader wonders why the village does not offer a farmers market like Ossining or Peekskill.

Response: The reader must be new. Let it suffice to say that farmers markets have not historically done well here. In addition, Apple Farm, Shoprite and Foodtown periodically offer local farm produce.
