SALISBURY — After seeing a parks and recreation brochure in a school lobby about a pottery class and then attending that class, Deborah Harris decided to change her career.  Originally from Croton-on-Hudson, New York, Harris said that she and her husband Dean moved to North Carolina in the summer of 1978 as he was set to begin law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Read more at:
