Croton-Harmon High School musicians took center stage at the New York State School Music Association Winter Conference in Rochester this December!
Senior Cormac Taylor earned a coveted spot in the NYSSMA All-State Jazz Band, one of the most competitive honors for student musicians in New York State.
Sophomore Zeki Eren was selected as one of just ten students statewide to present his original composition, Sunshower, at the NYSSMA Young Composer Honors Concert, performing alongside student musicians from SUNY Fredonia.
Tiger pride was on full display!
“Mac worked hard to earn his place, and it was wonderful to see him perform alongside students from across the state at such a high level. The musicianship on stage was mature beyond their years,” shared Ms. Zantay.
“I couldn’t possibly be more proud of Zeki and this truly momentous accomplishment,” added Ms. O’Brien.
