One of the great things about collecting vintage magazines are the old ads....and for a short time Chesterfield had a "girl of the month" campaign. This one is for October 1941.  (And please no "woke" commentary---it's just deleted on sight......)

She's followed by the All American Favorites of 1956---for radio and television---a  pair of vintage Halloween noisemakers with great graphics, and from 1921: JAZZIE THE DOLL THAT DOES THE SHIMMIE!      Again, click on the photos and links.


They just don't make cartoons the way they used to. Yes we loved Bullwinkle, Rocky, Bugs Bunny and company. And one of the Everything Croton Elves just loved Marvin the Martian.  MORE HERE
