FROM THE CROTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY FB PAGE: Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Edna St. Vincent Millay married wealthy coffee importer Eugen Jan Boissevain in Croton on July 18, 1923. Boissevain had rented the home of artist Boardman Robinson at 66 South Mt. Airy. Local Justice of the Peace Charles Anderson performed the ceremony on the lawn outside the house.
