American actor Jeffrey Hunter (1926-1969) was the blue-eyed, and good-looking heartthrob of such Hollywood films as The Searchers (1956) and King of Kings (1961).
During the 1960s, he also worked in Italian films and played Capt. Christopher Pike in the original pilot episode of Star Trek (1965).
